I have a strange problem:
2005 Yamaha 600 Triple
When idle, she is only firing on the outer two cylinders. Thinking I have a plug gone, I change the middle one but no change.
Here is where it gets interesting. If I take the cap off the plug just a little bit so that the metal is NOT touching, she fires!
So I unscrew the plug and I want to test for spark. I touch the plug on the metal bolt and nothing BUT if I lift the plug off of the bolt just a tad, TONS of spark.
WTF is going on?
Thanks!

You should probably change the caps. They unscrew off.
