87 Exciter boggs on climbs clutch problem?

Hope someone can help. This 570 runs great except in a climb it seams that as the rpm drops the clutch does not adjust and the engine boggs down . Once I have come to a stop if I lift the machine so the track can spin and run the engine rpm up to move the track I can set it down and then add throttle and machine will move up the hill. Clutch problem? Primary or Secondary?

i would look in the secondary and check the 3 shoes that the helix rides on to see if they are broken. could be binding so it wont backshift

Yep your not back shifting.... take your secondary apart you have problems in there.
