When you're from the country you look at things a little
differently..........
A Montana rancher got in his pickup and drove to a neighboring ranch and
knocked at the door. A young boy, about 9, opened the door.
'Is yer Dad home?' the rancher asked.
'No sir, he ain't,' the boy replied. 'He went into town.'
'Well,' said the rancher, 'Is yer Mother here?'
'No, sir, she ain't here neither. She went into town with Dad.'
'How about your brother, Howard? Is he here?'
No sir, 'He went with Mom and Dad.'
The rancher stood there for a few minutes, shifting from one foot to the
other and mumbling to himself.
'Is there anything I can do fer ya?' the boy asked politely. 'I know where
all the tools are, if you want to borry one. Or maybe I could take a
message fer Dad.'
'Well,' said the rancher uncomfortably, 'I really wanted to talk to yer
Dad. It's about your brother Howard getting my daughter, Pearly Mae,
pregnant.'
The boy considered for a moment. 'You would have to talk to Pa about
that', he finally conceded. 'If it helps you any, I know that Pa charges
$500 for the bull and $50 for the hog, but I really don't know how much
he gets fer Howard.'

You comin out by boat? Our ditches are not that great anymore. Too much stuff to hit or hook. A guy just down the street from me went out on Tues and hooked a culvert. Tore the left side susp right off. Only hurt his ego

not much water in ditch here.Lots of snow piled up on the sides.No problem to ride.Did it last week all the way to St Adolphe.I am waiting for the flood water to come up on the fields around me,then when it gets to 6" to 12" deep,wanna water skip all the way down the fields.Beside my house I should be able to go over a mile without anything in my way.Will see if my Yamaha skips.lol..seriously wanna do it.
I dont see why not my warrior did and its a tank. I crossed a 100 foot wide river with mine needed new underware after. Came out of the woods and looked over my shoulder to make sure my buddys were behind me forgot about the river all I could do is clamp it to the bar sit on the back of the seat and prey I made it.

STEIN.Just put on 65 km's on the 600.It is mint out.You'll see my tracks all over the ditches both sides of HWY 75 and all the way to the ST. Adolphe bridge.Did some water skipping..that is cool.Sled floats great for 1/4 mile no problem. If you go in the ditch between the two double lanes of 75,it is mint forever,about 4 inches of snow.There are 6 to 8 foot drifts on the North side of the Floodway West of the Hwy where the Proivince would close of 75 in the event of the flood.Did some nice climbing there.
Sunday will be mint for riding,-12 tonight and -5 tomorrow.I'll get more gas and ride all day.You should try and come down.I am 3 house North of Kackenhoff Nurseries on the same side off the service road.House has white garage doors,grey roof and Orange Brick on front.My Grey Ford is in the driveway.One last kick at the cat so to speak.Gone to mama's house to start buiding her flood wall today.Later

Stein...all the tracks you see from St. Adolphe bridge to the Floodway before St. Norbert are mine.It looks like 20 sleds have travelled thru there eh!!!Great day for a ride,SRX running great today.Getting nearly 115 mph along the ditch between the 4 lanes.
