So, made a tentative deal with a guy over email, said guy came to look at my '95 VMax-600. It was almost 60* here today keep in mind. I started it up on the first pull in almost 3 weeks mind you, and this is what he said..."well, my fuel-injected Arctic Cat runs differently...not sure about this one it sounds different, think I'm gonna pass...."
I tried explaining to him that this is a carbureted YAMAHA, not an EFI Arctic Crap, and that it is jetted to be run in the winter in upstate NY, not 60* Long Island....
This sled is pristine, with 3500 miles on it and runs like a dream...I have since edited my CL ad to include the following:
"And please do not take offense to this - but please do not waste my time or yours by coming out to hear it run, and then comparing it to how your Arctic Cat/Suzuki, Polaris/Fuji, or Ski-Doo/Rotax, fuel-injected equipped sled runs, especially since this is a carbureted YAMAHA, and it is near 60 degrees outside....and if I have to explain the temperature thing to you, I do not want the headache that selling you a sled would bring."

Sorry, guys, had to vent...that really just astonished me...I should have expected that though when he asked me on the phone if it would fit in the back of a pickup...3 snowmobiles and no trailer on LONG ISLAND? Right.
I really need to sell this sled because we're moving and this just really upset me.
