Today I got my nephew to try out my sled.He has never been on a sled in his life.He is 24 years old and he took it for a few good spins in a nice fields of snow. When he pinned it I could him him yell"YAHOO".Comes to me and says that this is fun,he loves the acceleration. Now he wants to get a sled for next season.I told him to stick to Yamaha and will help him find a used sled next season.Going to find him a 600 SXR or similar sized sled..maybe a 700 SXR .Anyways I told him he could ride with me and learn the ropes first on my 600 and then we'll find him one.
Another Yamaha rider in the family..that is great.I told him Yamaha is a good sled and I could do any work for him on it to.He is excited. We'll get another TY member on here to. ;)!

he is cool.He is a well mannered kid,I'll have no problems with him at all.He is not one of those hyper type guys.He is a responsible kid and besides his family has money. He is real serious with his girlfriend, they should be getting married soon.Hope she doesbn't stand in the way of him owning a sled. That would suck.

hey crew chief..funny thing.I was thinking that last night to...has a ring to it!! Bluemonster 2..Wander if the site is ready for this..lmao
My nephew is basically into computers and games and plays hockey. My brother in law owns a computer wholesale business and very successful, with offices here in Winnipeg(main),Saskatoon.Calgary and Edmonton. My nephew also works there and am sure his dad pays him good.
So just for the record(I hope) I can convince him to carry on the tradition as bluemonster2.

ever watch snowmoblier TV.They had this episode once showing the Famous Mountain Riders in BC(can't remember the area). There was a guy on there that they talked to and asked him when he started sledding. He said he started at age 72 and just loves the sport. So doesn't matter what your age is.As long as we can keep this sport alive or else it will vanish in the future. We have to basically get them to start young and carry on the tradition...on a Yamaha of course...lol

One mistake. You introduced him to the sport with an SRX! He's felt the beast.

Zach..no actually I let him try the SXR600,not my SRX.Don't think I would let him try it until he has some experience under his belt first.

He's my nephew and I sure wouldn't want anything to happen to him riding.I want him to learn properly and all the rules of sledding first. My sister would string me up by the "you know what" if anything happened to him when riding with me.

that would be cool. How many miles on it and what shape is it in.Try to send me some pics of it and I will keep it in mind.Is the SX a 600 or 700?
