Anyone know what size the roundslides are on a 92 exciter ll ? and will it like 40's with a single or twin pipes?i'm putting this engine in my 80 srx and i don't mind losing a little bottom end. thank you.......

could take 40's go with the dual pipes.... they came with 38's... no prob for 40's. port those cylinders a little bit and it will be really happy

just clean up the ports a little, 82M head gaskets. put PSI twins on it if you could find them. 40's would not really help much. We used to bore the 38's to 39.5 and saw little to no gain. I used to trans plant those engines in 81 srx chasis's. Used the psi single worked well. The AAen single is close to the same and turns a little more rpm.

i just had an aaen single given to me.how much can i change the pipe to make it fit before i lose alot of power?also,would i be better off getting some twins? thank you,shawn
