They closed hwy 75 today...

the river is rising.When they close the flood gates,it will really start to rise.Hwy 75 only closed at Morris,open here to local people.I am good here until the water is about 5 feet from my house,then I will finish my wall.We will probably go to my mom's on the weekend and access things.We may start to build up her plwood wall.We have time yet,till April 15 for the full crest.The concrete pad around my house,where the wall gets built..is the same height as the water was in 97.So I am ok,probably won't do the wall assembly..unless something happens like ice jams.My steel uprights are in place anyways.The plywood wouldn't take long.
