transfer rod lenght

What,if any,difference is there between the transfer rod length of the 01 SRX and a 98?I have a bud that wants to put a set on his 01 and there's a set he can get locally off a 98 and he's going on my advice but I can't say for certain they are the same.Anyone tell me for sure?

00 to 02 years have shorter rods by about an 1.5" and are mounted in different holes on the slide rails. They did this for better transfer..
