Hello all, has anyone ever heard like a Chaffing, pulsing noise on the Chaincase side of an SRX? I'm baffled ...so Far I emilnated Brake pads ( hand brake as well)
no Play in any bearings that I can see of feel including track driver bearing, Suspension bearings, I pulled the Chain cover checked for Slop in the Chain, measured the Chain...averything is in spec....WTF???

I did notice one thing though and I'm not sure what kind of noise if any it would create The W arm Aluminum Bushing Rod ( 3/4 Aluminum ) was worn a great deal

SrxMagic mentioned that it could be my Tensioner bearing in the Chaincase...I pulled that out and the bearings look and feel fine....does anyone have any suggestions where I can go next???

Did You Put A New Track On Recently??
Some Tracks Will Hit The Tunnel Proctorers By The Front Heat Exchangers And Make A Weird Noise.

Hey SRXMAGIC, can you believe I called nearly every yamaha shop including Bender Racing, Hauck, Hartman, got them stumbled as well.....they told me " Well what you have done so far.....is everything we would do "

However, the onlt two possible solutions were " Worn Chain " and " Brake Disk Key worn, and " Out of round Jackshaft "

so , I think I'm gonna post a new thread asking the Symptoms of a Worn Chain ?

LOL

Thanks again Magic, thanks for joining me in my quest to get that %^&@ noise fixed!! If you find out anything let me know.
