Well fella’s, it’s supposed to hit 80 today and young mans thoughts turn from sledding to other things.

If I don’t see you on the water or in the lesbian chat room, have a great summer and I’ll see you in the fall.

LMAO.....

enjoy the warm weather and remember to get those sled projects done BEFORE snow flies again lol!

I am waiting for the flood waters to go down yet. Then I can power wash my shed walls and floor clean. Then I will wash the sleds and fog them finally. Then I can enjoy the summer if it ever shows up.

here in NH it was actually about 86* at my house. kinda ridiculous for April in NH, but I liked it :)

It did snow pretty good Saturday morning. Could hardly see going down hwy 330. It was a whiteout for awhile. Wanted to go and get the sled...lol...

It was like 84 in Milwaukee on Friday. I could have spent the day on my bike riding the snot out of it, but instead I was gardening.

You can imagine how happy I was to do that... NOT

Oh well, the GF can't plant yet. With her recent ACL surgery, she can do no activity like that until another week or so.

yeah I have my bike apart to do the valves and a few other odds and ends, but I have hurt my back a few weeks back and my sciatic nerve is acting up. so now I am very slowly doing the things needed to the bike so I can get it back on the road, riding the bike actually feels good since I lean on my arms and all the weight is off my back. surprising, I never think of a sport bike as comfortable lol! I think it will be back together today. DAMN SCIATIC NERVE :(

Coincidentally, that was my GF's biggest issue as well prior to blowing her ACL out skiing on March 7th.

Does your honda have shim under bucket valves? Or can you simply adjust what is there with a wrench?

I need to re check my valves on my TLS, but I would have to take every shim out and re shim it if it is not in spec because I have shim under bucket design.

4k ago it was still on the low end of being in spec, I hope it still is because that would take away from riding time. Luckily I only have 2 cylinders that are 4 valves. I hear many folks say that the shims get worn out to a point many times, then they don't wear much after that. Kinda like the 4 stroke yamaha hyfax;)

no shims, just a locknut and screw adjuster :) WAY easier! I actually have the valves all adjusted, just need to bolt the valvecover back on (only resting there now) and put the radiator, hoses, and all the fairings back on. not too bad, just that I am slow at the moment!

;)! I have already done two Raft trips in Utah. One by Moab on the Colorado river called the Daily Section and another on the Colorado river through Horse Thief and Ruby Canyon. Have two more trips coming up in 30 days on the Green and San Juan. The run off is already starting to kick in big time. I think I should fog my sled, not much chance of riding for next 6-7 months. Had a great winter and hope you all did to. ;)!
