skid identification help

Just picked up a 96 vmax 600 LE and it looks like a pro-action skid setup. Not sure if these sleds had a pro-action skid in that year. Could someone identify what sled it came from? I'd like to get some extroverts and rail extensions for this setup.

Also note the bent transfer rods. Is that a sign of a poor skid install or just taken off some sweet jumps?

I thought only the 96' XT came with the pro-action, but i could be wrong. It looks to be a bit different than the trailing arm model pro-actions though.
 
From what i can tell from the pictures it is a 96xt skid. They did only put those in the xt's. 96xt was the first model of the pro action skid. I'm almost positive on this but hopefully someone else will second this. If it is a xt skid you shouldnt have to hard a time finding a new transfer rod.

No, the 96 vmax 600 LE did not come with this suspension. Only the XTs. Yamaha did offer the proaction as an upgrade or replacement. The top 7" wheels being aluminum also point to a 96 as the 97s are plastic on the proaction. Another thing of little importance is the 96 was 10.5" of travel and the 97 was 11.5" of travel. I have beatten the snot out of my 97 proaction and never bent a transfer rod. Broke the W bar a couple times and one front shock.
 
It looks like it is from a 96 XT or a 97 model because it has aluminum wheels. In 98 they changed them to plastic. I also think that the color scheme on the sled looks just like my 95 that I had and not a 96.
