I am impressed over this SX. Do you care to tell us how it is modded/clutched?
 
well ill have to check with my dad to get clutching, being im only 14


Mods that i know of

Bender Can
Vforce reeds (maybe carbon tech, not 100% sure)
SXR rear susp.
SXR skis
its been well jetted
thats about all i got....

Not sure on the gearing or clutching or jetting, but ill check with my dad and get you guys the info....

THE 120mph run was done on a 32*F day!

PS- Sledsquatch, being my sled has only the single headlight, i ride with highbeam on at all times EXCEPT when im meeting a car or sled at night =)
 
stock weights with 4.5gram rivets, bender helix, i think its a 51/43,
gearing is 23/39, main jets 143 all across, needles set at 2.5 position, belt height is critical to top speed, you need to ajust so track just starts to spin freely when the rear of the sled is off the ground.

Track is .92" camoplast
thin head gasket aswell

NOTE: THIS SETUP IS NOT MADE FOR HOLDING IT WIDE OPEN FOR LONG DISTANCES ON EXTREMELY COLD DAYS, SHORTBURSTS ARE OK! JETTED FOR 92 OCTANE GAS.

Just curious, how much do you way? I'm 245 on a good day, and my 98 700sx will do about 109 on the speedo. I need to play with weights as mine overrevs at 9000. Cool video by the way! Keep it up!

Hey SX Slayer, that hill in the road ditch you guys were climbing and jumping is about 3 miles from my house. Just to let you and your Dad know, the speed limit on the trails and all public property in MN is 50 MPH. Good job on the video, fun to watch.

So i take it you live near/on highway 27. We will have to get together and ride sometime next season.

I am aware of the speed limit, the trail was perfectly straight and we checked for other snowmobilers/people, i know this is a not an exscuse but we figured that this spot was much safer than a lake. on the lake you got ice chunks, drifts, and not to mention sometimes water ontop of the ice. THIS IS THE ONLY SPOT WHERE WE INTENTIONALLY BREAK THE LAW (dont tell any1 ;)! )
 
Not to worry, I won't tell a soul. I've been known to mash the loud flipper a bit too much also. It just hurts the wallet when the local CO shows you the radar gun, shakes his head, and brings out the book to make his point that indeed you were going too fast. When I feel the need to go fast I head for private land where I have permission to ride. Ride safe.
