An Inspirational Golf Story.......

Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naaahhh! I already play 3 times a week."

Then they said to me "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

S#*t, I could win this thing

Now it all makes sense

Now it all makes sense

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days
interesting. Well, for example, the other day, my wife and I went into town
and
went into a shop. We were only in there for about 5 minutes. When we came
out,
there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.

We went up to him and I said, 'Come on man, how about giving a senior
citizen a break?'
He ignored us and continued writing the ticket.. I called him a Dumb azz. He
glared at me and
started writing another ticket for having worn tires. So Mary called him a son of a b---

He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the
first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20
minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote. Just then our
bus arrived and we got on it and went home.
We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It's important at our age.

not tonight.I have a little migrain headache and my neck is out of alignment and pulled a muscle in my shoulder area..OTHERWISE I do like to laugh..but not this moment....thanks.
You can laugh at this.Went to my mom's place first time since the flood.Road there was washed out pretty bad.Anyways the guy living beside me facing South and on that road, had his son do a nono.During the flood I guess the gravel road was slightly under water just past his driveway.I know the guy always came home from work with his large truck and went thru it,since it wasn't deep.BUT..his dumb son must have been drunk one night coming home ...riding thru the water(there are no markers on the side of road) missed his drivway by about 25 feet, made a left turn and down into the water the car went.It has a deep v type ditch on each side, steep. His car is lodged between both sides of the ditch.Front bumper against one side and rear bumper against the other.Car would have been totally submerged over the roof at peak flood level.Today I seen it for the first time and water is still at the side window level.Man was that ever funny to look at.
Since the road had signs placed there saying road closed(flood waters )..he will not be covered bu Autopac for his dumb mistake. You have to see it...it is so damn funny seeing a car jambed in that way.Water probably saved the kids life since the car would off sunk slowly into the water and come to a stop.

Almost funny. Even with the road closed sign Autopac will still have to cover the vehicle. All depends on how he makes his statement.
Local RCMP detatchment has been handing out tickets and warnings to people driving on the closed roads
Had a pounding headahce as well today.Tooo much work. Took my daughter and her 6 little friends bowling for her birthday.Lots of Tylenol got me thru that.
