I have been away from snowmobiles for about 5 years now, and have forgotten EVERYTHING it feels like. Help me out, I am installing a racepak avenger 3 to get the data. But what good is data if you dont know what to do with it. where do i want to be with; egt, water temp, peak pulling rpm, ummm anything else that may help me out would be greatly appreciated. my motor has been trail ported by bender, bender cold air kit, i pull now at 8500 the entire 1/4 mile. ???????????? thx. mike.

my guess is egts like 1250* and i would have the rpms pulling @ 8400-8500.....i believe that's where bender's trail port is targeted.
how far are your egt's away from piston?that plays the bigeest role.If you have them say 10" and run 1250 you may urn it down.I personally would tape them off and get your jetting tuned in by checking piston wash and plus.Then when you get it right pull the tape off and see where your at.So many people burn engines down trying to tune by egt's.Use egt's as a giude once it's tuned in.
am i still looking for 3/8" of piston wash in the appliacation ?
my egt hole is 7" from exhaust port. 11" from center of piston.
About 8" from the exhaust port usally 1250 is safe on from what i haven't expierenced.

yup, runnin at liecester. 60' s arent too bad, (for now) 1.43/ 1.50 spinning. If I can ever find the tree, i'll start heading to lancaster also. Man, it feels so good to be on the 1320 again !!!!!!!

you gunna be there this weekend?? im gunna check out lancaster friday then bobs on saturday. ive got it down to 10.60 but am SURE its got more. clutching is close but not yet optimal ! sure would take some input if u wanted to give it.

stock skid modified should be able to get in to 10.20's-10.30's
