I plan on putting some bar risers on my 96 Vmax. I'm thinking 3 inch but any suggestions would be appreciated. Also where is the best place to get them

I just put a 2" rox pivot riser on my 96 vmax xt and really like the feel. Will know better how it feels when the snow flies. I got mine from dmaxx on this site. I'm sure if you PM him he can get you some or any of the sponsers here. Or just go to the want adds and give it a try.

will the 3 inch riser on this page work on my sled. http://www.powermadd.com/products/nonpivotriserblocks.html Will I need any other parts? And does anybody know if I will need to extend cables with a 3 inch riser? Thanks
That one will fit, but I'm pretty sure that you will need cables with that much rise and that style of riser. If you go with a pivot style you might be able to run a three inch. The 96 still had the mechanical brake right? If so then finding a cable for that might prove tough. I think I've got a 2 inch block that I'll send you for the cost of shipping plus $5 for my time to run it to the post office. Should be able to put it in a flat rate box for $10 so $15 total. If your interested let me know and I'll go look in the drawer and see if it's still here.
