I have a 85' 700 virago and can not seam to fix the leaky petcock. It leaks through the vacuum hole in the plastic block. Any help will be great.

drain gas,, disassemble and check for bad seal... flattened or cracked o-ring..or clogged vent.. replace if needed... don't wan'ta blow&burn....
Thanx for the info. I did rebuild both sides of the petcock. I have had that thing apart ten times. I don't think it is in the petcock. It may be in the vaccumm line routing. I can not seem to find any diagrams. The plastic block in the middle of the petcock has a umm hole that the fuel comes out wether the bike is on or off. Thanx again!!
