Hi guys,
I'm looking to import a 2004 RX1 from new york state to ontario canada. In order for me to do so, the Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RIV), a canadian government group makes you do certain things.
One of them is I need a recall clearance letter from yamaha which states the VIN number of the sled and says that there are no outstanding recalls on the particular sled.
My problem is I have no clue how to get one! can anyone help me please!

get them to fax or email it to YOU. RIV is a nightmare to deal with if things go missing or are not 100% accurate. Best to have personal copies of everything just in case.

Deal with Yamaha Canada as you will have teh form the same day, the U.S. is several weeks and on hold forever
