Mountain Max skid shock length?

Anyone know what the center to center is for both skid shocks, on a 02 Mountain Max?

Hi, I don't know but I do know where to get gas shocks for that sled. From Hartman.

accordind to the book for 01 the installed length for center is 188mm and rear installed length is 353.5 ...hope this helps

Good luck finding new shocks with the right length.. Let me know what you find, other than works from Hartman.

I was hoping to fing then extened center to center. So I can find a set of shocks to replace the stockers.

The only "cheap" replacement is using Mountain Viper shocks. Which has to better than the stock mountain max shocks

any shock from a SXR or viper will work for you. I just put a full set in my mountain max last year. they are a lot better eaven in stock form.

I know you're asking about the rear shocks, but I found out that they still make the front ohlins shocks for this sled. I assume it is the simple model since it "only" costs 225 a piece.

I think I might put some Viper shocks in the skid.


Or find a Cat skid, if I can get a templete/mounting locations for the bolting the Cat skid into the Mountain Max
