Hi !
Does enyone knows is the SRX heater suitable for my -02 Viper ER ??
I just bought heater instead OEM tube, and i think it`s for SRX, because the bleed hole is in viper more like right side on the tunnel and the new heater bleed bolt is little bit left side and closer to backedge of the tunnel ?
I hope you understund what i mean..
One more thing is wondering in my mind.. : Is there somekind benefit for overheating problems on spring time, when the snow is hard ?
Is the engine less hot if i assembly this bigger heater on my sled ??
Overheating warninglight sometimes appears when i drive slowly on trail and snow is ici..
Thanks

The viper rear cooler kit that yamaha sold is the srx cooler. moving the bleed hole is part of the install.
Ok. Thanks for that..
Buy the way: How many rivets should be under the snowflap ?? Is it 3 or 5 ?

I went and checked mine and I think it is 3. You should ahve to drill for them i believe.
Just as i tought.. Heater have 5 holes but i think those 2 are drilled couse they are a little bigger. OEM hole is about 0,157 inches and those 2 holes are 0,197 inches.
Yes, i have to drill those 3 holes.
Is the OEM rivets best way to asembly the heater or some other rivets ?
The OEM rivets is so easy and painless to squeeze
