been reading alot about updating the phazer carbs when installing a AAEN pipe. one post said to remove welch plug and drill midrange hole another said to replace primary nozzle and main nozzle. could the stock nozzles be redrilled or just drill the midrange hole after removing the welch plug. what are you guys thoughts. thanks...

It is not an update on the carbs. It is needed for the right fuel mixture when using the pipe. If you go back to the stock exhaust, the carb will also have to be changed back.

any time i put a pipe on all ive ever done is set floats richer ive head no problems but i would contact aeen to be sure

i would start out with the stock needle in the carbs set in middle clip with 45 pilots and 260 mains
