Anyone ever mod the stock tunnel on the MM? For example, remove the running board coolers and put in a larger single or double pass cooler in the tunnel so you can install f-bomb better boards or similar. Issues?

Looks interesting. I guess I was wondering if anyone had actually removed the RBC's and punched holes in the running boards and applied an aftermarket stiffener, i.e. better boards, so they would effectively reduce some tunnel drag in the snow. Seems like all of the mountain tunnels today have large openings on the running boards for snow evacuation and reduced snow buildup (weight). If I did this would I have a 'plumbing' and cooling issue, even if I did install a larger tunnel mounted cooler? Add scratchers to help?

I did a pretty big "overhaulin'" of my chassie:

Lynx (the Scandinavian version of BRP) Cooler in the tunnel
Better boards from an Phazer FX
MPI ext. 151"
Ski-Doo rear bumper
Yamaha Nytro MTX tail light

Rode all winter, never lost grip of the runningborads and good bye ice build-up.
Prob. one of the best mod to this sled. Which I unfortunately wrecked at the end of this season.
So now a RS vector Turbo stands in my garage, which will have the same mods except the cooler.
