ok guys, im looking for a decent digital camera that take fast action shots, my SONY CYBER-SHOT DSC-500 is a piece of it takes atleast 2 seconds to take a shot ive tried reading the manual (amazing what a camera can get a guy to do, HA! me reading, Yeah right...) i read both manuals, the online, and offline one, and i can ajust my camera to fast, anyways,
i want something that takes good quality pictures, but it has to be able to take them fast (like a disposeble camera can)! im sick and tired of trying to take pictures of my friends carving in powder......i end of taking a pic of the trench that the sled left behind
im looking for a camera to add to my $200 helmet camera, and my $60 mini camcorder without breaking my very small budget. So if you know of a camera that fits my needs thats under $200, post a link or a picture or just tell me about it!
SO HELP A GUY OUT!
(LOOKING FORWARD TO HAYDAYS, ONLY LIKE 1.5 MONTHS AWAY! HELL YEAH!!!!!)
Oh and also read Sig, and follow its directions

Check out the Canon Powershot SD450. It's an older cam but takes awesome pictures. We use it all the time snowmobiling. And if you search around the net you will find many others like it too.

You should be able to "pre-focus" your Sony by holding the button down about half way, and it should then snap the shot off real quick when you press the button down the rest of the way. It will seriously improve your action shots with the Sony. It still will take a little to re-set for the next shot, but if you get the first one......

Second that, as we do the same with our Canon. And even though they SD450 is that high of a mega pixel camera it takes awesome pictures. I can even send you a few action shots that I have taken with it if you like. Really a great camera. I recommend it to anyone.
