I always thought that when you brought something into the police station that after 90 days if the articles were not claimed that they would be yours. Well not for our police station. I found some articles while I was sleddin and brought it in to them they took my name and all that but never had a followup done. I went into the sation and they told me that it hasn't been 90 days. I went in today 92 days after they were dropped off and I am informed that the articles have already been destroyed. No calls no nothing. 600 bucks worth of stuff now either up in smoke or in a cops possession. Well just had to vent a little.

i would say some cop has it...i am curious what it was also ??

I found a brand new set of saddle bags loaded with 2 pairs of gloves a bunch of tools, and a bunch of other stuff. The one thing that wasn't in it though was a name. I think the person that lost them was from the Sudbury area. There were maps to do the gold loop, but was not sure. The only thing that I removed was the booze. Oh well I guess they needed them more than I want to keep them. It sucks to try and be honest and do the right thing and end up loosing out.
