Today I decided to take the main wires out that go under the motor to check for rub through and their was none so I retaped and put the wire loom on it and slid it back under then I checked the wire running up the hood looked good retaped that and put the wire loom on that where it rubbed. The only thing I saw on that whole thing that made me a lilied uneasy was the clear connector has some oxidation in the connector is that normal or what. Also I was wondering where else do I want to look on the sled for problem areas like where wires tend to break and rub through and since im in their what else should I look at.

if you've got some oxidized connections clean em up and reconnect with some dielectric grease that should keep em clean

You might want to check the wires that go to your CDI box on the left side of your sled behind the shroud that is at knee level. There are also the wires that lead to your power valves and hand/thumb warmer there.

O and also check the wires in the steering colum. They will be all taped up and you would never think it could brake in there but I had one rub through last season. I had a TORS issues last year and sure enough the wire in there was broken.
