MSRX Clutch help

Hey guys. My new to me MSRX has a lot of strange clutching done to it, which the previous owner knows nothing about. Trying to figure out what all has been done to this thing so i can get it ready for the season. The secondary has been converted over to a roller setup with a blue spring. The primary has a billet endcap with the large bushing, orange spring, and adjustable weights. Basicially the spring and weights in the primary are wore out. Previous owner also gave me a set of yamaha weights 8DN 00, Gold in the outer hole and a darker color in the middle hole. Anyone have any suggestions or clutch setups that will work for me? Sled will be mainly ridden in the Black hills, and she weighs about 160 lbs.

just going off your discription, it sounds like you may have some hi-tech products in there. hi-tech makes a billet spring cap for the primary and a bolt on roller for the secondary. can you post up some pics for us guys to see? that would help greatly in us determining what you are working with.
 
Well after a little more examination of the primary, i have deemed it junk. Found a crack in the stationary sheave about half an inch long. So im in the market for a complete clutch for this thing. :o|
 
Heres a few of the primary. I dont have any of the secondary, the sled is out at the shop.

that red spring cover on your primary, is the hi-tech cover. its called the "911 response kit". it has more bearing surface, to help keep the movable sheave more perpendicular to the shaft it slides on, during shifting, to help it shift smoother. can you post a "side shot" of the weights? i wonder if they are like old hauck adjustable weights??
 
carpenter, i'm guessing by the pics of the weights, that the pivot bushings are toast?? you can see the rollers wear pattern on the "cam" surface of the weight. it runs on an angle and off to the side. the weight was swinging on an angle, instead of straight and perpendicular to the movable sheave.

can you post a side view pic of the weight, that shows the whole weight? what about the secondary pics?
