I currently own a 2001 srx 700 and love it. I,m thinking about buying a second sled. A 2003 RX Warrior. Any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated. Good or bad

I drove a 2004 Warrior, 05 I think it was when the sled had some updated parts to save some weight, I loved it personally, mad acceleration, 0-130 km/h in what seemed like a little touch of the throttle, when your driving the sled it feels light as a feather, until you get stuck, then it feels like it weighs a ton, as it does. It has a load of torque, a very broad powerband, you can drive these things at high speeds (130+ km/h) and then give it more throttle and still feel the torque pulling your arms. Plus it has a sound like no other, better sounding then any pipe or can on a 2 stroke. Some peolpe say the stock skis dont corner good at all, but it seemed as this one handled like it was on rails (stock skis, track, etc) but the transfer rods were set for no
ski lift = good cornering. If the price is right go for it.

The first year for the RX-Warrior was '04. I have one and I would say that it is one of the best all round sleds that I have ever owned. Plenty of power. Great fuel economy. Most reliable sled out of all the sleds I ride with. I think the '05 has the updated rear suspension but that may only be on the Rx-1 (not sure) The Rx-warrior has a different gear set from the Rx-1. I think the Warrior has taller gear to improve the low end pull of the longer 136 track out of the deeper snow. This should actually reduce your top end speed a little but I have to be honest with you, this thing is still a rocket on the lakes. I don't plan on selling it for a long time. I know a lot of people have put an APEX seat to make it a rider forward type of machine but I like the seat on mine just fine. Try it and you will not miss your 2smoke I promise!

I went from a '96 xt 600 to an '04 warrior and I love it! there are some mods to do to get it really dialed in but they all depend on your riding style! they did not make a warrior in 2003. Check out this link for ideas ... http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=45203
