I an always standing up when I ride and am looking to install some handlebar risers on my 2000 v-max. I was wondering what brands have worked best for you guys and what all I have to adjust when I raise the bars. Thanks.

A couple years ago i put a set of 6 inch powermadd risers on my 97 vmax with a pivot adaptor from powermadd also. I had to extend each cable from the throttle(oil pump/throttle cable) and also had to get a longer brake cable...i did end up losing my parking brake due to not extending it...i recently just put them on my 2000 sxr600 and they went on without a problem
