yamaha inviter 1990

anyone know how to change drive belt on a 1990 inviter? also the serial number strts with 86, is it possible it could be a 1986? also easiest way to change gear oil in chain case. thanks debro1

its still a 1990, the vin on those started with 86Y. if i remember correctly, they are a pain to change. you need to open the secondary to allow belt clearance, similar to belt change on newer sleds, except the rotation is opposite.
