So being the family mechanic lol, I got roped into fixing up my brothers v-max4 750... I believe its a 92?? if that sounds right... anyways, I got everything back together, cleaned carbs, new lines, bled coolant... Keep in mind this machine hasnt seen snow since 2002, hasnt ran in 3 years either. Now the problem... Looked at the suspension, saw a crack, pulled the suspension out... What I found was a disaster... Bearings, bogey wheels, sliders, every bushing is shot its not good at all. What Im wondering is would it be cheaper to fix this skid up?? Or replace it with another skid... And if I replace it what skidframe should I be looking for that will fit??

Lol I was the hero for a bit until I announced that news with what I found underneath HELP! Lol

I WOULD SAY GET OVER TO vmax4.com AND FIND A GOOD REPLACEMENT COMPLETE SKID FRAME. THEY WILL ALL WORK 1992 THROUGH 1996. BOLT RIGHT IN. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Yep what he said vmax4.com Great site!

People do swap in different skids, depends on what you want to do though.

Alright, thanks a lot guys, will head over there and see whats the easiest to swap in... dont wanna get into anything to major, but I think swapping would be a hell of a lot cheaper then fixing this one
