I am extending the skid on my 2001 SXR 500 twin to 136" and adding a 1.25" ripsaw track. I purchased a used tunnel extension that had a SRX heat exchanger in it. The SRX exchanger is very big and for the triple. Will this be to much cooling for the twin as it does not have a thermostat and run to cold? Should I consider changing this to the smaller SX type exchanger?

go ahead and run it. i had the srx one on the rear of my sx500r and never had any problems. just make shure there is heat in the left foot exchanger before you start riding is all.
