I'm new to this forum and I am hoping for some help because of my limited knowledge of snowmobiles in general.
I am currently fixing up my father's 79 enticer 340. I would like to change the rear shock and need advice on how to take off the track and suspension. I tried once and after removing the track/suspension, I couldn't get the track/suspension to line up with the frame. I ended up having to compress the rear shock to line the back bolts up on the frame.
I also am having trouble with knowing what the right tension should be on the track. Is there any tricks you can pass on. THe track seems to shift to one side after riding.
Any advice you guys/gals can give me is appreciated!
