handle bar risers??

i got a 2001 sxr 600 and i want to put some risers on it but im not sure how high i can go before i have to extend all the lines and cables i was thinking of putting a 4 inch on but again im not sure if i can go that high without extendind everything, any help would be much appreciated

I put a powermadd pivot riser with a 2" block so it raised it up 3 and 1/4" total. the lines are tight and have to reroute them alittle. I was told that you could go 3" with no probs.

i put a 6 inch on my sxr 700 i got a longer brake line and 2 cable extension kits one for the trottle and one for the oil pump cable and extented the wring was a bit of work but well worth it
