Has anyone ever painted the stock ski loops? Reason i ask is because i wanted to paint mine White. What did you use and does the paint stay on?

wondering the same thing to, as I can't see myself paying $80 + tax (CAN) for them, Krylon fusion might do the trick, as its supposed to "bond" to all plastics... hopefully somebody else will chime in.

I dont see why you cant paint them. Scuff up the plastic real good so the paint will bond and maybe finnish it off with a clear coat for extra protection. I've painted plastic like this before with pretty good results.
I deceided to leave them blue. White might blend in with the snow too much

I want red loops but like i said, $80 is alot for them. I don't want to have to paint them and then after a couple rides or so have all the paint scratched up, chipping and what not. Then have to buy new loops.Although about 2 years ago I painted the ski loops on the bravo silver, Looked good for about half the winter, after that the alders and now wore some of the paint off. The paint is still on there now, doesn't look the best though after a couple winters use.

these can be painted with go results. you will need to go your local auto paint supplier and purchase the plastic prep and the paint with the flex agent in it. they might even have paint cans with the colour your looking for already. you might even be able to buy it at your local Canadian Tire if your located Canada. any paint made fro plastic should work.

I got out of control with spray paint on my Viper's skis last year (Rustoleum) and they actually held up decent. They do require occasional touching up though, because whenever you rub up against a tree stump or anything else the paint rubs off.
My new Slydogs will soon be here, so no more stock skis for me however.
