well this is what happened i took my ice sled out to my first grass drag ever and i happened to find the only rock in the entire practice field and just about ripped my front exchanger out.So what i am asking is is it possible to take out my exchangers and run a quick flush system and if so what do you guys think the best way to go about doing it.Only drag sled so not worried about overheating.

Sure, you can do it easily, and it'll save you a pile of weight. Just run some hoses so it loops and bypasses the exchangers. If you're running a cooldown cart, you might as well get rid of the coolant reservoir also.

Yes, take out your thermostat. You need to purchase quick couplers.

Don't remove the reservoir as it will heat up quickly. As the motor hold very little coolant. I have a prostock that I eliminated the rear and running board exchangers I kept the front exchanger and reservoir and the system still only takes about 2 quarts. But do as you want. Just giving you a heads up.
i agree with this theory. ran a 98 srx with no coolers, just the reservoir. there is not near enough liquid in the motor to run 500' and back. pushing the limits with the added coolant running the res. i have all the parts you need for either the poor mans coolant cart, or the trick, ultra deluxe model.Danger Dog said:Don't remove the reservoir as it will heat up quickly.
