My last 250 enticer was a 77, I added a handle bar gauge pod, and took WAY too much off the head.
I pulled about 63mph.
This "new" one I'd like to gain about 10mph over stock and not lose any of the bottom end grunt.
has anyone built a pipe for it?
will a mikuni be an improvment?
has anyone done anything to the ports?
a thinner base gasket?
yes, I know to gain speed I should go on a diet, that is a last resort.
if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thanks, Shaggie
P.S.
The speedometer gos up to 100mph. HA! That might be too much work.

I think all I did was have the head shaved.
and lubed everything, ran the track just a little looser than a larger machine.

well i do not know the difference in gearing but our 1979 with a powerblock clutch passes 340's on the lake. it is a dog off of the line but it moves pretty good once rolling. i did cheat though and put the track on backwards. boy does it hook up now.
