just wondering if anybody has installed one of these. i installed one last night with the help of a good buddy. had there been a diagram or two describing to me (a yammy virgin) what some of the parts were called, it would have went a lot quicker. but, all in all it went pretty good.

what i am wondering about is if anybody else has slop up in the rear suspension mount? we took the transfer rods out and replaced them with the provided spacers. as far as i know, the bogie wheel on the throttle side went back to where it was supposed to be. but, we got it all tightened down, and there is a lot of slop up in the top of the rear suspension mount. like 1/4 inch or better. the instructions claim that there will be some, but i wouldn't think that much.

thats what my instructions say to, there will be slop, but I haven't gotten around to installing mine yet, waiting on getting the hyfax and a new shock/spring, then drop the suspension and install it all at once.

you don't need to pull the whole skid unless you need to do so to get the new shock in. it actually went pretty well except for the instructions. i remember pulling the skid on my buddys vmax so we could extend it. i can't believe how much easier the bolt up went after we followed the instructions. we fought with that thing forever.

we followed the instructions on this one. we bolted the rear suspension bolts back up first. then lifted the back of the sled up high and the center suspension lined right up.

I planned on pulling the whole suspension to replace Hy-fax and install a new shock/spring, so might as well do it all at once. So the MPI Strap kit is not hard to install? The instructions seem like they go on forever...
