I am running a 144 ripsaw around an XTX skid, with 8T extros and 22/38 gears. It is very good for off-trail riding and tight trails. On the long straights and lakes of course the 121 sleds leave me behind. These are the same sleds that I help get unstuck a lot.klrgreenis said:Does this apply to a 144 ripsaw as well?
What are you running?
For pure mountain riding, I would go with even lower gears. Of course you really need more power and maybe a longer track (where does it end).
