Hey guys,
Just picked up a 01 SRX with 900 miles. Bone stock except studs. What needs to happen to run with the F7's? Turk got me onto a 54/44 and a green spring. Anything else proven?
Thanks in advance!

if its an '03, good luck.
Lol!
That's what I was thinking....depending on the year of the F-7 and it's state of tune you've got your hands full. Do yourself a favor and make sure it's a long race......and that might not even be enough to win.

I had a 2000 SRX, The only mod I had on it when I did most of my racing was a 1 1/4 ripsaw track. Loved the machine and loved beating all my buddies with newer rev 800's and F7's. I beat every F7 I ever raced except one 05 that beat me by half a sled length and i had a terrible start, but everyone knows losing is losing, but if i had a good start that race i would have beat him. I beat ZR 900's and every F7 i raced. Even in radar runs.

HERE IS THE FACT. IF THE F-7s YOUR RACING ARE REAL WORLD SNOWMOBILES, YOU WILL WIN SOME LOOSE SOME. PROBLEY WIN MORE THAN LOOSE.
IF YOU RACE A RACE PREPED ONE YOUR DONE.
IF YOU RACE ONE AND IT WAS LIKE TURNING OFF THE KEY FOR YA ITS PROBLEY A F-8!! 3:16 (yammie tony)

Like mentioned above, There are no aftermarket pipes that are going to give you that magic 30HP your used to getting with a redhead engine, The srx is tuned pretty good enginewise STOCK. Sorry to say!!! Let me Rephrase that, GLAD TO SAY!!!!!!

If your looking to win drags then i assure you that you should stick to ice , put that srx in snow even with whatever big lug you want you will disapoint yourself ........get yourself a low lug .78 and as big of a stud as you can.... truth is if your gonna go down to the lake then go prepared shovel points chisels etc.... and you will do well ..if your gonna ride then ride .What your lining up against is probably not what it says on the cab ...
