I'm looking for a two service manuals, one for my VMAX and the other for an SRX. I can order them from my dealer but they will be $100CDN a piece, which is fairly expensive for a book. I'm willing to pay that much if thats the only place to find them.
Does anyone know where I can find them cheaper? I know they are listed on Ebay, but on CD which I don't really like that much because I can't bring the computer into the garage.
Does anyone have a factory service manual? How are they and what did you pay?
Thanks Matt

I've got a 3 of the paper oem manuals two I bought on ebay, one came with the sled when I bought it. Just be patient and a paper copy will show up on here or on ebay! Good Luck!

I kinda want the manuals now because I need to start working on the sleds for the upcoming season. How are the oem manuals? Is everything in them?

I think the oem manuals are pretty good, it's just a bunch of parts put together. Take it apart and pay attention, and you should be able to get her back together. I have used microfiche online before to see how stuff goes back together too. What parts are you going to be working on?

With my electronic versions, I just print the pages I'll need in the garage or jot down some notes by hand.

I'll be working on the skid. But I also want to know some of the specs and service tips/tricks.

There aren't really any service tips or tricks - this site is the best place to find them! For the skid there is actually a manual committed entirely to tuning and service of the pro action suspension.

As long as you have a printer, print the pages you need and take them to the garage. That way if you get grease on them or spill your coffee on them, all you have to do is print new pages. I don't waste as much time trying to find the manuals anymore either. Just last Friday night I spent over an hour looking for my Massey Ferguson 65 manuals. Those I do not have electronic versions of. Just backup the disk in case you lose it or it gets destroyed.
I use the electronic version for anything I can now. Believe me I have a ton of manuals. Seems like I am always fxing something around here. Maybe if I quit buying junk . . . Oh nevermind . . .

The ProAction Suspension Tuning manual is a separate manual. Comes with a video, but you can get a copy on here I believe.

I called the dealer and my Vmax manual would be $112 CDN and the SRX one is $152 CDN. Which is nuts!! Thanks to the members who sent me pdf manuals. I'm liking this site more and more.

I have a 99 Vmax 500. A .pdf manual would be a very nice present (Hint hint, email me)
