1980 440 exciter gaskets

are the head gaskets or gasket set for the exciter anything special
or can i use the cheap brand i just want to reseal the motor

You can use any brand.....it will work.

the head gaskets aren't anything special like the gpx where they lower compression if cheap gaskets are used ?

I have NOS Exciter 440 head gaskets !
Yes the aftermarket sets do give you less comperssion
