There's a 00 Mountain Max 700 that i'm thinking about purchasing. It has about 8500km on it and is bone stock apart from ATACC and different gearing. Is there anything particular i have to check or worry about? Is the engine solid or do i have to worry about changing pistons and rings in the near future?

Best engine yamaha has ever built. Can,t kill that single piped triple. Check primary clutch for cracked shives & also cracks in suspension w-arm.
I second what Turk said, best engine they have built. And also like he said check the w-arm and primary.
