I just pulled my stator and flywheel off.
My flywheel is pretty rusted well covered in surface rust figure i will beedblast it with fine glass beeds tommorrow at work.
The Flywheel has to small spots/nicks where it looked like it may have contacted the stator there is tabs that hang down where it contacted. almost looks like yamaha messed up where the pickup points are on the flywheel.
My stator also has a bit of surface rust I assume it will be safe to clean it up with some fine grit emerycloth.
This sound ok????
