explain clutch weights chart??

The higher the pounds of force the faster the clutch will upshift & rpm,s will drop.

thats pretty much what i thought. the only thing that doesn't make any sense is when you look at a weight like the 8bu-00. it is showing more force on the top end, like it should be a good top speed weight, but it doesn't work that way. that is why i am confused by the info in the chart.

this is your quote, "You want to be 8400 max on a stock engine. 8dn-20 weights is what you need. The 8dn-00 need a gazillion grams in em loaded up to bring down rpm,s due to their flat allmost 4 stroke weight profile".

i thought the 8dn-00 were a great top end weight because they had so much mass at the end? the chart for the 8ek really has me screwed up, because it looks like it would have no weight force on the top end and wouldn't go over 60 mph.

also, i am trying to use the charts to see if i can get a better weight to use than the 8eks in my viper. but i am not sure the charts are telling me what i want to know. i think in the real world the results will be different.
