Need experiences of after market finger porting

Finger Porting-Need experiences of after market mods

I am concidering finger porting to vmax -98 600 twin engine. I know it works in drag racing but how about trail riding. Example jetting / needle point changes are welcome from other engines too.

i know this isnt finger ports but i knifed the transfer ports and poslished the exhaust ports. i think it made a little difference. i have a whole bunch of simple mods done to my 97 600 twin and it make 103.5 hp at 7500 rpm

thin head gasket, notched reed stops, y-pipes shortened, air box baffel removed, and the slight porting already mentioned. just added carbon tech reeds this fall but have yet to put it on the dyno and see what difference they make.
