I was wondering if there is a special forum section for vintage sledders? I have been away from sleds for ten years so I have a lot of catching up and learning to do. I hope to become an itelligent participant in these forums. I look forward to meeting you and swapping tales of trials and tribulations.
Thanx

Welcome! Your getting back in the sport after 10 years then don't check the 4 strokes. You have to try the newer 2005+ Yamaha 4 stroke before going with the older 2 strokes. No smoke, lots of torque, easy on gas is some of their advantages. It's not like it was, you have the choice now.

I am looking forward to seeing, riding and tearing into the newer sleds. It is a little hard to do as they took my licence due to decreased field of vision from the stroke I suffered. However,I look ahead to visiting some dealers and a few shows to get near the newer stuff.I hope by reading different threads on the forums here, that I will pick up invaluable tech data and other pertinent info.PhatboyC said:Welcome! That said, I love the smell of two stokes and I'm looking forward to a spin on my '78 Exciter 440!

Hi Chilli!
I live four miles south of Fenelon Falls. I used to do a lot of my riding in the Muskokas where I had a cottage. That was in the 90's.This year, I hope to ride around the 11 acres behind my place as I will be getting use to riding with the use of only one arm. I just want to get a moving sled between my legs again is all. My days of long trail rides are long gone I'm afraid!
