Just wondering how much im gonna hate taking this off. I have another one to put back on it. any tips or tricks to point me in the right direction would be helpfull! thanks guys!
Chris

A couple 3/16 drill bits and some patience will go a long way! Its not that hard just use a punch to knock the pin of the rivets down then drill and drill!

Had To Do The Same Job Last Season Take Your Time And Make Sure Drill Bits Are Sharp Or New Its Not That Bad!!!!!!! Good Luck

If you get a drill bit for drilling stainless steel, it will last forever. Good luck

As has been stated before, first punch out center, then drill. I just had to remove a ton of rivets to get at the forward hose & found that method to work the best.

i just pulled off left and right side coolers today...lots of patience first off. The right side front rubber hose is by far the toughest part to take off. I ended up taking the skin off the right side, then theres plenty of room to get the hose off...and most importantly to get it back on. I figured i could get the cooler off the hose, but getting that hose back on the cooler correctly, would be impossible.

got it off and welded back up ready to be put back on! One more question.....is there somewhere else to get rivets other than goin through yamaha?? if i have to i will cuz i want it to be strong but i'd rather save a couple bucks if i can
