I bought front suspension bushings from Royal Distributing but I cannot figure out where they go. Somebody must be able to help me? From what I can figure out is that the 8 plastic bushings and 4 small metal bushings go together, and for the radius rods...

OK I can get a few of them for ya,the 8 round bushings that are identical go to the radius rods as well as the 4 steel collars/sleeves,they go inside the plastic bushings. There is also 2 bushings for the top of the trailing arms and 2 for the bottom of the trailing arms. The 2 long steel collars and 2 long plastic bushings I'm going to assume are for the ski pivot in the spindles. The other 2 aluminum? bushings (may be steel hard to tell from the pic) and the 2 plastic bushings must be for the end of the trail arms where they bolt to the chassis.

Thanks fourbarrel, for the bottom/top trailing arm spindle bushings, I think I might leave on the ones on there now, as the new ones are more sloppy than the old ones. The large aluminum bushings, and the 2 larger plastic bushings, I have no clue about them, as both won't fit on the end of the trailing arm, so I may not use them either, and they are not worn...

I purchased the same bushing kit for my Viper. The quality was very poor compared to the oem yamaha stuff. Most of the bushings had more play in them than the worn out stuff I was replacing. They are going back to Royal the next time I am in the area. Be sure that you are happy with them before you start installing.

That's what I wondered about, the quality,I know that when I replaced the ones on my SRX a couple of years back I ordered them all from Yamaha and it is considerably more money.Any of the sloppy fits can be tightened up with shims cut from a thin tin like an empty spray bom can or I use empty brake cleaner cans for shim material.Check out a post by Betheviper on tightening up your suspension,he gives a really good way to take the slop out of a bunch of areas.
