i just got my sxr going i put stock jetting in and stock exhaust on now it boggs and popes on low end with no belt on sitting in place but reves like a rape ape after 3500.any thoughts i still need to fix the primary ,put the stock weights in,any thoughts

I'd make sure carbs are clean especially the pilots, get all the old fuel out and add fresh and put the proper primary setup before worrying about anything else.

If it still bogs, start checking electrical - plugs, plug caps, coils, cdi, stator.

when you say you just put your sxr back to stock, what did you all have changed prior, that you now switched back? did it do this bog prior to changing back to stock?

i put a set of tripple pipes on it,never rode it with them, changed the jetting clutching.ran good with the set up.i put the stock exhuast on it,jetting but have not changed the clutching back.

so, if you have stock exhaust on it, and stock jetting, then you have something plugging up the pilot circuit a little bit. double check pilot jets and fuel screws and all the pilot circuit passages.

also, double check the throttle cable free play. i would by pass the TORS if it isn't already.

I would say that if you have a bog when you hit the throttle and assuming the pilots are clean, you need to open the fuel screw a little more.
