hey i was just wondering if anybody knows what the northern lites trailing arms geometry is - same as stock or modified?? i want to mod my front viper suspension to mimick the sno cross sleds. i already have some plans to make a steering rack and also the unequal length radius rods. Just curious if the stock trailing arms well work with the different suspension setup or if i well have to mod the trailing arms or buy aftermarket ones.
They made a stock geometry, but the snow cross ones were quite different. The guy that built them was really very good at making them, too bad he doesn't follow through with promises. He might tell you exactly what they were if you catch him on a good day. However I would not order anything from him. He just doesn't come through. I think he actually intends to, but just doesn't make good.

You need to match your radius rod attach points to the length of the rods and the attach points on the other end. Then you need to match your steering geometry to the arc of travel or you will have major bump steer.
In my opinion, the attach points on both ends of the radius rods need to be different than stock, and thus the trailing arm is different, as well as the bulkhead mounts.
There is a user on here that I would PM, as he has recently gone through all of this with the Nlites Sno-Cross arms. His user name is Hatch.
Other users that have had them include MaxDlx, and SkiDooBoy.
Also there are a few threads about this, you might try a search.

Don't ask skidooboy as his bent on a easy trail ride that did not include bumps
