Removing Carbs

Hi, do i need to pinch the main gas line when removing carbs, so won't drain tank? Thanks!

You might want to pinch off the coolant lines for your heated carbs That can get pretty messy! use a rag, so you dont tear up hose and some vice grips

or find a bolt to fit in it to plug it.

for the coolant line i use a center punch, works great because it is tapered. fits in nice and snug.

We use golf tees for the short time we have the carbs off.

X2. Always worked greak. Just dont use the painted ones. I did that once (only once). Nothing like cleaning out paint particals you didnt notice till they pluged the mains. Oh well, lesson learned.
